Or more specifically I’ll be explaining overclocking the:
HD 7670M
AMD A6-3420M
This guide comes with absoulutely no warranty. This may damage your hardware, it will void your warranty, follow this guide at your own risk.
Overclocking the A6-3420M
Because the APU is much easier to overclock than the GPU, that’s what I’m going to explain first. The first thing you should do is update AMD Vision Engine (Shortened to AVE), you can do so with this.
The next thing you should do is open AVE (Right-click your desktop, click “Graphics Properties”). In AVE, click “Preferences” in the top-right, and select “Advanced View”. In the left pane, click “Performance » AMD OverDrive”.
Now that you’re in the AMD OverDrive settings, click “Overrride existing CPU settings”, then click “Auto-Tune”. At any point if it asks you if you’re sure, or it explains that doing so will void your warranty, agree if you wish. After Auto-Tune is finished, enable AMD OverDrive (On the OverDrive pane, there will be a slider at the bottom, to the top-left of the slider should be a big button, click it so it’s green). You should have options all the way up to 1.9GhZ (At least, anyways), this does not effect “turbo” (You can download the full version of AMD OverDrive to do that if you wish, I will not be covering that), I set mine to 1.7GhZ because I found 1.9GhZ (and 1.8GhZ) ran a little too hot.
Congratulations! You’ve just overclocked your 3420M!
THE BETTER WAY TO OVERCLOCK YOUR APU IS USING K10STATS(much better than fusion tweaker) ~Fusion Tweaker is same as k10stats but simplier interface n easily use ~
Overclocking the HD 7670M
(If you haven’t updated AVE, do that now) First thing to do is install MSI Afterburner (If you prefer Sapphire TRIXX, that works too, I won’t be covering it though), you can get a copy of it here. Next, make sure Afterburner and AVE are closed before proceeding (You may wish to reboot your computer).
First thing to do is open regedit (Start » “regedit”). Hit “Edit » Find”, and type in “enableulps”, search. Wait for it to complete, after it finds it, double-click “enableulps” and change it’s value from 1 to 0. Hit “F6” to find the next entry of “enableulps”, it probably won’t find one but do it just to be safe.
Now open the folder Afterburner installed to (Probably “C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner”) and open “MSIAfterburner.cfg”, in Notepad. Find the line that says “UnofficialOverclockingEULA =”, and add “ I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it” to the end of it. Next, the line below it “UnofficialOverclockingMode”, change to “0” to a “1”. Now reboot your computer (This is required to disable ulps, which is required to use AfterBurner, if you don’t do this, you may need to do the regedit step again).
Now run Afterburner (Start » All Programs » MSI Afterburner » MSI Afterburner). Set “Core Clock” to “700”, and “Memory Clock” to “1050”, then hit “Apply”. Next click “Save”, then click the first profile. Now your GPU should run (While gaming) at about 66-68 Celcius, capping at 70. It may run hotter depending on what game you’re playing, I tested this with Diablo III (Which ran my GPU at a max of 88% so it can likely get warmer), it should cool down to as low as 43 within 20mins of little-no use, 50 in 5mins of little-no use, and 53-54 in 1-2mins of little-no use.
If you have an issue regarding “ulps”, reboot your computer (Make sure MSI Afterburner isn’t set to start on startup first), and go back to the regedit step. If you can’t raise your clocks beyond the stock, close Afterburner (or reboot your computer, and make sure it doesn’t start on startup) and go back to the Afterburner configuration step.
Congratulations! You’ve just overclocked your 7670M!

-Software rendering will be much faster when running higher clocks.-
IF YOUR TEMPS. GET HIGH OR WANT TO PUSH YOUR OVERCLOCK HIGHER , OPEN THE RAM AND HDD COVER PLATE AND CHANGE THE THERMAL PASTE INSIDE THE LAPTOP . THAT SHOULD DO .
Most of the new game can run pretty decent and playable at max settings , depend on their game engine and settings . The benchmarking result was benchmarked by myself by running it and test it on several games .
This also compatible with A4 ,A6, A8 , and A10 mobile processor.
You can also use FusionTweaker to overclock your processor successfully.
Here are some tips for the airflow :
- Please do this overclocking on a flat and hard surface ( e.g. marble floor not wooden floor )
- give a space for the laptop
- do it in air conditioned room is recommended
- put a big fan beside ur lappy
- buy a cooler of course
warning on the overclocking the CPU and GPU :
-DON'T PUSH THE VOLTAGE TOO MUCH
-STAY ALERT ON THE TEMP
-DON'T OVERCLOCK TOO MUCH
-BE FRIENDLY WITH YOUR HARDWARE
-LOWER THE CLOCK IF THE TEMP WAY TOO MUCH
-THE HIGHER THE VOLTAGE , THE HIGHER THE TEMP RISING
FOR ASUS A43TK OR SIMILAR : 3.0GHz ARE NOT stable on ASUS A43TK .It only gives you a bluescreen because of voltage limitation.... 2.9GHz are more stable but need a good cooler .( DON'T USE CHEAP COOLER as it not good as branded ones :shakehead: ...laptop cooler with adjustable fan like Cooler Master Notepal U3 for example is good to be used in overclocking things  )
To have a better temperature on cooling , make a homemade laptop cooler by using some high airflow of 120mm case fans ( mine using cooler master and xigmatek ) plus a computer powersupply .. by using the homemade laptop cooler , i got a dramatically low temperature from 51'c is the minimum lowered to below 45'c ~ The temp wont go above 85'c
NOTES :
Some of you guys might have problem with application profiles or switchable graphic settings which is giving you an ati crash ..... to fix it u gotta do this :
1 - Go to C: drive (or whatever drive you use in tht matter) inside C : drive there is hidden folder called ProgramData go inside this folder and you will see ATI folder delete ATI folder. (programdata folder is hidden so you have to change your folder view options to show hidden folders)
2 - Go to C:\Users\yourwindowsuser\AppData\Local (change yourwindowsuser with your admin account name that you use when you login windows) there you will see another ATI folder just delete it.
3- Try to reopen the CCC . Everything will start fine. CCC will work fine but all your previous profiles gone
Hope ATI will fix this issue ....

Upgrade or install windows 8 for better gaming performance :) the fps of myself playing mw2 stable at 50-60fps :) most games like cod bops also gained a huge amount of fps :)
TWEAKS:
Make BF3 running smoother ~ :
First , you need to set ur settings that make the game ran playable . then , download the .cfg file and put in in ur battlefield 3 folder .
http://www.mediafire.com/?l8uyt1qxcns1w3u
For smooth or increase performance on Battlefield 3 , patch ur game until latest ~ since i test the game using the pirate one , use update 5 of battlefield 3 .search through google or can ask me to upload the file of the patch ( but tht would be illegal :P )
This is wht i got through fps benchmark :
Operation Swordbreaker ( in the humvee scene ~ till end of mission )
B4 Patch : 35~39 fps
After patch : 39~60 fps minimum is around 28 or 29 but happen on certain , not all the time ~ still playable

FOR USING THE HD7670M INSTEAD OF HD6520G
This is a detail explaination on getting a performance on 7670m card without using 6520g ...
-Right click , go to AMD Radeon Dual Graphic tab and disable it .
-Then , go to Switchable Graphics and select ur desired application that you wanna run with 7670m .select high performance ~ done .
